Guilty Crown had all the elements required to be a memorable, long standing anime series…except it lacked any coherent story and plot, creative and strong characters, and a direction as to where it wanted to go. Simply put, one of the most disappointing animes of 2011.

Notes of Guilty Crown Episodes 6-8

  • So last week I covered Eps 2-5, where Shu thought he would be just helping Funeral Parlor out for a bit with their mission in Ep 2, discovered he was still with them in Ep 3 and had to find a human whose void was a shear, the person who had a shear turned out to be someone Shu knew and had no problem turning Shu in to G.H.Q in Ep 4, and in Ep 5, Shu tries his attempts at training. About as basic a quick summary as possible.

  • Yo! Looks like I’m going to be doing some catching up. What do I mean? Well, with the Fall still ongoing but almost ending, I picked some shows that I decided was the best of the season and I would blog them. Well, that starts now! The schedule will tell you when to expect other posts, but otherwise, I shall slowly try and catch up to all the animes weekly–and that starts with Guilty Crown!
