- Episode 10 of Cat God…started a story arc?!? Demon rats have been invading stores, and in the Realm of the Gods, Princess Kukuri and Amane have been having some trouble. Somehow this leads to Mayu’s ban being lifted and possibly heading back! Except she doesn’t want to go back.
- But in this episode, it seems to be more of the same, except the fact that Mayu goes and surprises Amane when she actually seems to be respected in the world of the living (Who knew you could ask a god for help in a video game?). Seeing this, Amane soon realizes she made a mistake in leaving her post, so she tries to go back–but not until a demon rat appears! The two both go after it, only to eventually lose it.
“Wait really AIC?!? You couldn’t give these guys names?!?”
- Then Mayu calls on the cats in the area. Yep, that rat is going to have some trouble getting away. Anyways, after that situation was cleared, Mayu finally gives in and goes back to Takagamahara and seemingly meets an old friend–except she gets locked in a prison. The people at the Yaoyorozudou however, is told by Susana and Meiko that Mayu is getting married to Lord Tsukiyomi.
“Yeah, nothing changes with us…”
- So it turned from Demon Rats to Mayu having to go back to the realm of the gods to…marriage? Wait, what? Why? I swear, everything just seems to be strange. It was supposed to be a comedy. Well, there still is laughter in this episode (though, I would have liked for the Boss to return again!), but it looks like Cat God will wrap up with some thing to think about. I think!
